The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for creating continuous shelving. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, the unit features three adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for enhanced stability. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway, while the boltless design allows quick assembly and four-sided access to stored items. Each level supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed, and shelves can be adjusted at 1" increments. The unit includes pre-sized panels to ensure seamless installation and meets requirements for environments where cleanliness is essential.
