The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration. This 3-shelf unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit features pre-sized panels for seamless installation and an open design ideal for any industry where cleanliness is essential.
