The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts to form stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf comes with DURADECK decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be adjusted in 1" increments. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility.
