The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with a practical, space-saving solution that connects easily to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility.
