The 48"W x 24"D x 48"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with a practical, space-saving solution that connects easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts to form a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and features an open design allowing four-sided access to stored items.
