The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes three adjustable shelves with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suited for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The heavy-duty frame is made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The kit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage.
