The 36"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the need for nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes four shelves with a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that prevents back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The shelving includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and is ideal for environments where cleanliness is essential.
