The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, enhancing stability and minimizing back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility.
