The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, with shelves that adjust in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, single rivet horizontal beams on the middle shelf for reliable support, and double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, ideal for healthcare and food service applications.
