The 36"W x 12"D x 48"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes three shelves with heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that prevent back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, making it ideal for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items. The unit can also be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
