The 36"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes three adjustable shelves supported by double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability, with uprights made of 14-gauge steel punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, preventing back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. This unit supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, allows shelves to adjust in 1" increments, provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
