The 48"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring five shelves and a boltless design for quick, tool-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Warranty terms are included with the product.
