The 36"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the open design permits four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility.
