The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is made from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support, and 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves adjust in 1" increments, support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
