The 48"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes four adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf providing reliable support. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage.
