The SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 48"W x 24"D x 72"H and is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 3-shelf unit features a boltless design enabling quick assembly without the need for nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access for maximum storage flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf incorporates DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and can be adjusted in 1" increments. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation, and the unit can be expanded with add-on units to increase storage capacity.
