The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features six adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. It includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The boltless design allows for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, while the double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts for added support and stability, eliminating back and side sway. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels enable seamless installation. This unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
