The 48"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. The unit includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. It supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
