The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint to prevent back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and shelves adjust in 1" increments. The unit supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, offers open four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
