The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support, while the 14-gauge steel uprights are punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications, and the shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage.
