The 36"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design that allows for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes four shelves with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support, and 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, which provides a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments, while the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
