The 36"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 5-shelf design with adjustable shelves that support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. It includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The boltless design allows quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, while rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
