The 48"W x 12"D x 120"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features four adjustable shelves with a DuraDeck non-porous surface that wipes clean easily. The shelving unit includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, assembled without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and offers four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments, and a double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 800 lbs. when evenly distributed, making it suitable for industries requiring cleanliness such as healthcare and food service. The unit can be extended with add-on units and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
