The 48"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 3-shelf design with a boltless assembly that requires no nuts, bolts, or clips, allowing for quick and hassle-free setup. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves along with single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support and added stability. The rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf features DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be expanded with add-on sections for additional storage.
