The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes five adjustable shelves with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, supporting up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit’s heavy-duty frame is made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that prevent back and side sway. The shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units to increase storage space.
