The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. It includes three adjustable shelves, each fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suitable for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The shelving unit utilizes a boltless design with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability, with rivet button stud construction securely locking perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items, while pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips.
