The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes four adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service environments, supporting up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
