The 36"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to fit various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelving unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, allows four-sided access to stored items, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
