The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features six shelves with a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes double-rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, and provides a heavy-duty frame capable of supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Each adjustable shelf features DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, ideal for cleanliness-critical industries such as healthcare and food service. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
