The 36"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features six shelves with a boltless design that assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams on every level, providing added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking, a smooth surface that wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
