The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a heavy-duty 14-gauge steel frame with uprights punched on 1" centers. It includes three adjustable shelves with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support and added stability. The boltless design enables easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and the rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. It can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
