The 36"W x 18"D x 48"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes three shelves supported by a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 400 lbs. evenly distributed, is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the open design permits four-sided access to stored items. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
