The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, providing quick, hassle-free setup. It includes six adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame incorporates 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs, support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units to increase storage capacity.
