The 48"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features four adjustable shelves with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The unit uses a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips and offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, making it suitable for any industry where cleanliness is essential.
