The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 6-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, allowing shelves to be adjusted in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint that minimizes back and side sway. Each shelf has DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for healthcare and food service applications where cleanliness is essential. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. It supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The unit includes pre-sized panels that ensure seamless installation.
