The 48"W x 18"D x 36"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 3-shelf design for organized storage. It includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The boltless design allows for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and the rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, adjust in 1" increments, and offer four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
