The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 3-shelf design for practical, space-saving storage. It utilizes a boltless design for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame comprises 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into the corner posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suitable for healthcare and food service environments, and shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments. The unit supports up to 400 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, featuring pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
