The 48"W x 24"D x 120"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a 3-shelf design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments, providing added support and stability while accommodating various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
