The 48"W x 18"D x 48"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 3-shelf unit features a boltless design that enables quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. Pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
