The 36"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. It includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The unit's boltless design allows for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and its rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints that eliminate back and side sway. Double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf ensure added stability and reliable support. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. This shelving unit offers four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
