The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 4-shelf unit features a boltless design that allows for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, single rivet beams on the middle shelf, and double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint, minimizing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to wipe clean, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation, and the design allows expansion with add-on units for additional storage.
