The 36"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate diverse storage needs, with double rivet button stud construction securely locking perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The unit has six adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. It includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
