The 36"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. The unit has three adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments and each level supports up to 400 lbs. when weight is evenly distributed. The open design allows for four-sided access to stored items and the starter unit can be extended with add-on units to increase storage capacity.
