The 36"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is made from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without using nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. The unit has five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. each when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
