The 48"W x 24"D x 48"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 3-shelf design with a boltless assembly requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
