The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability. The boltless design allows for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and the double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The unit includes four adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
