The 48"W x 18"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 2-shelf unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-rivet horizontal beams on every level, which adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, enhancing stability and eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous, easy-to-clean surface suitable for healthcare and food service environments. This unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when the load is evenly distributed, and the pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation, making it ideal for industries requiring cleanliness.
