The 48"W x 12"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 2-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level for added support and stability, adjusting in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that easily wipes clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
