The 72"W x 18"D x 36"H SC Preferred™ standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each of the two adjustable shelves is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 600 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
