The 48"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to coordinating starter kits using a T-post configuration to form a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, the unit features a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability. The boltless design allows for easy assembly without the need for nuts, bolts, or clips, while the double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to minimize back and side sway. It includes three adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design permits four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the pre-sized panels enable seamless installation.
